One segment of the Berlin Wall was set up in FENIX, an art museum that opened in 2025 and tells stories about migration. Stories about love and farewell, home and feeling at home, navigating identity or seeking happiness. Fenix is located at the docks, where millions of lives have changed over the past centuries.
The FENIX segment comes from the auction at the BRAFA Art Fair 2020 in Brussels, where a total of five segments were auctioned off. Other segments from this auction are located in Oostende and Brussels.
