In April 1990, the master stonemason Michael Spitzenberg from Silberhausen has bought a segment of the Berlin Wall and chiselled on it some data from GDR border guards concerning the locking bolt around Westberlin. The monument was erected in the centre of Silberhausen. (quote from Wikipedia)
