In 1997, one segment of the Berlin Wall came as a memorial to Reichenbach, Vogtland, to the former German-German frontier zone. Initiator was the managing board of the local savings bank, supported by the regional Vereinigung der Opfer des Stalinismus e.V. (group of victims of stalinism registered associaton).
