Location: Smithsonian National Museum of American History, Kenneth E. Behring Center

A museum for American history wouldn’t be complete, if there wasn’t a discussion of military conflicts. With the exhibition The Price of Freedom Americans at War the Smithonian tries to fulfil its obligation to display military history. A part of this extensive exhibition is dedicated to the Cold War, with segments of the Berlin Wall as obvious symbol.

In addtion, the Smithsonian National Museum offers a website to this exhibition, which includes a detailed section about the Cold War.
