The Berlin Wall segment was given as a gift from Berlin to Montreal on occasion of the 350th anniversary of the Canadian metropolis and the 160th anniversary of the town charter at the same time. Since then, the Wall segment and related text panels are standing in the Centre de commerce mondial de Montréal, Canada’s World Trade Center.
