Location: Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum
1 segment of the Hinterlandmauer
In the early 1990s, the director of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum wanted to be in no way inferior to his counterparts in other museums of ex-presidents and acquired also a Wall segment from the Berlin Wall Commemorative Group – but a more manageable segment of the hinterland Wall.
This is to honor Hoover’s services to the needy population of Germany in the times after the First and also the Second World War.
