Location: behind the Museum of Science and Technology
1 segment
In 1990 the Museum of Science and Technology in Syracuse, New York, was in the founding phase. Betty Ann Kram, founding member and trustee, was working at that time for a German company in Syracuse.
A colleague from Germany made her three Wall segments available and shipped them to the US. However, two of them were broken on the way. Most of the fragments were sold by the museum shop. A few are on display in a glass case inside the museum.
The undamaged Wall segment was placed in a Peace Garden behind the museum for public view. A plaque details the history of the Wall. The original colourful graffiti has almost fade away, except a rest of the inscription: “..eep you co..”
