3 segments
The Royal Engineers Museum is dedicated to the civil and military achievements of engineering. In the military sector, objects range from the dawn of it, further to the Second World War, up to the present.
The Royal Engineers 38 Squadron dismantled the part of the Berlin Wall which ran along the British sector of the city. They left the city in 1994. To give thanks for the long-term presence in Berlin, the Royal Engineers was given three Wall segments, which can be seen in Gillingham since the early 1990s.
