Location: U.S. Army Garrison Fort Leavenworth
3 segments from the Hinterlandmauer
Former US President Ronald Reagan was given three Wall segments in 1990. They came from Raymond E. Haddock, former commander of the US Forces in West Berlin, who had sent them to Kansas.
The segments were erected on the military ground of the US Army, which is part of a 23-square-mile wide area in Fort Leavenworth. In another area, there is a Federal Prison in which, inter alia, sentenced to death awaiting execution.
