The Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids is also home to a fragment of the Berlin Wall. It was donated by Frederik C. Meijer, owner of a supermarket chain. Other segments were donated to the Van Andel Museum Center and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum by Meijer, too.
