Berlin Wall in Osaka, Japan

Location: Toukokuji Tempel

2 segments

According to the legend, the sanctuary in the center of Osaka, the temple in the Eastern valley, goes back on Korean immigrants, who settled here in the 7th century.

The two segments of the Wall, standing here since 1998, are a donation of two Koreans. Along with it goes their request to reunification of the two parts of the country, the dictatorial North and democratic South.
