In 1992, a 65 hectare wide landscape at the banks of the river Ruhr was transformed into a park landscape as part of the North Rhine Westfalia’s flower show. In the MueGa Park twin towns of Muehlheim presented themselves with subject areas.
One of Muelheim twin towns at that time was Tiergarten, a former district of Berlin. Among others, Tiergarten presented two segments of the Berlin Wall in its area.
