Hanover, NI – Glocksee

Berlin Wall in Hanover

Location: üstra Glocksee work yard

1 segment

The Wall as a canvas for Pop Art: Already in 2012, the English pop artist Tim Davies, who is living in Hanover, painted the robots, a female and a male figure, who break through the wall in order to get together.

Initially the segment was set up in Berlin (at Checkpoint Charlie). Since the end of April 2015 it is on loan to the Glocksee work yard of Hanover’s public transportation services. On its current site, it is as well protected by a fence as it is easily visible from a busy road.
